Andrew McDonough’s book, ‘The Way of the Cross’, came to life at Edwardstown Baptist this Easter through an interactive experience. Centurions and soldiers guided participants through a series of stations that each represented a part of Jesus’ journey to the cross.
The immersive experience included image projections, and multisensory displays such as sharp thorns to touch, heavy iron nails to hold, and vinegar to taste.
Children were given an empty egg carton and collected items at each station to fill each space. The church also organised treasure bags, sideshow games, pedal cars and food stalls to welcome their community.
