all baptised on 22/09/2019
Enfield Baptist shared a special family service on Sept 22nd 2019, where 5 young people were Baptised – Lucian Webb, Harley Tuminello, Meghan Naden, Fero Doelu and Sebastian Townsend. “Exciting emotional amazing ready” was how leaders Elizabeth Beasy and Mandy Fairbank described the experience of teaching and seeing young people come to faith in Jesus.
The packed church had a wonderful sense of God’s presence and power and felt the blessing of seeing young people of various ages take a step of celebrating and declaring their faith in Jesus. One young adult Sebastian Townsend testified how the nurture of the church leaders and family has helped him not drift away from his faith as he committed to follow Jesus as Lord of his Life.
Testimony was given to the place of the kids and youth ministry and the Church family in nurturing faith, and joy was seen in these young lives as they declared such a refreshing faith.
Following their Baptism, Pastor John Beasy encouraged the young people in being an example to all in the Church, and encouraged each person to continue on in their walk with Jesus.
