Seeking a Project Coordinator
Are you interested in leading a co-design project to create inclusive community for children and young people with disabilities?
Baptist Care SA’s church support team is looking for a committed Christian with excellent knowledge of disability inclusion to work collaboratively with churches across SA, to plan, develop and deliver the ‘Co-design and Connect’ project over 12 months, starting in July 2021.
The Project Coordinator will work 0.5 FTE with at least 10 churches to co-design inclusion strategies and activities and develop relevant resources that will support inclusion of children and young people with disability into the normal activities of churches.

Seeking member for the Project Advisory Group
We need people with disability and carers (we would like two people under 24 years of age) who would be willing to join us on the Project Advisory Group.
This group will meet 6 times over the year to co-design workshop content, strategies and activities. Group members may work with the project team and participating churches to co-design tailored strategies for various activities for different disability cohorts.

Seeking one or more Project Developmental Educators
We are looking for one or more casual developmental educators who can provide assistance to the Project Coordinator and individual churches to workshop co-design actions and strategies for specific cohorts of children and young people with disabilities.

If you run a church ministry and wonder how to create more inclusive programs for children and young people with disability, then we are here to help you. This project enables you to work exclusively with people with knowledge, skills and lived experience of disability, to tweak, re-design or co-design activities that ensure everyone is welcome in your church.
