Raise your voice in the Federal Election

The next federal election is on its way, and Baptist Care Australia is joining the public discussion about how we can build stronger and more inclusive communities.
Baptist Care Australia are taking the opportunity to meet with politicians to let them know about the changes we’d like to see after the election. And they’d love you to raise your voice too.
While Australians have a lot to be thankful for, there are aspects of life that are still far from perfect. Baptist Care Australia is taking action so that people facing personal challenges, poverty and discrimination are included in any big changes that affect them after the election.
They’ve chosen four important and urgent issues for our next government to address – housing, poverty, aged care and domestic violence. If you care deeply about one of these issues, you can take this opportunity to do something to share your views with the people who represent you. There are links below to more information about these topics, and also step-by-step guides on how you can take action.
Baptist Care Australia’s federal election platform document sets out a summary of the whole campaign. You can also follow Baptist Care Australia on Facebook and Twitter to read and share content about the issues and news about the campaign.
